CLIMATE COOLERS SCHOOL EVENTS AND AWARDS PROGRAM

We love working with our young people. Our Climate Coolers Events and Awards program aims to build awareness of positive action on climate change for students and parents of school communities. The program has two key aspects to it – A competition for creative works by students on 4 climate themes called the Eskies, and a special 2-hour evening climate change awareness event for the community. At the evening event there is a guest speaker, a school fundraising opportunity through raffling a solar hot water system and great entertainment provided by the students of each school. Our aim is to educate and engage the student and wider community and offer personal and household solutions to act on climate change. In NSW and the ACT we can offer all households energy saving light bulbs and a free installation service for the globes.

CLIMATE COOLER KIDS - KINDY INITIATIVE

Engaging the imagination of pre-school age children is a great way to reach parents and the wider community with our work on climate change awareness and action. Our Kindy Initiative is a 4-week program to create connections in local communities to cut CO2 pollution.

Through local Kindys, we aim to engage the kids through simple climate change messages and fun activities, while also reaching their parents and the communities around them with solutions and ways to act now together with practical opportunities such as the FREE installation of FREE high quality energy-saving light globes and information.

CLIMATE COOLINGS - IN-HOME PRESENTATIONS

Climate Cooler consultants conduct informative and educational presentations in the comfort of your homes.  The host invites family, neighbours and friends. A Climate Cooler consultants will help everyone understand the issues surrounding climate change and offer solutions and ways to act now. 

At a climate cooling’s in-home presentation the host and guests will receive:

• A climate cooling presentation.
• An action plan information sheet.
• Advice on how to reduce a households CO2 footprint.
• Advice on products and services to save energy and cut CO2 pollution.
• Free energy saving light bulbs as many as needed for the household      plus a free installation service.

Through our Climate Cooler Consultants we aim to:

• Raise awareness and engage people everywhere on Climate Change issues
• Drive social and lifestyle changes in the wider community through education and information
• Cut CO2 now through energy efficiency projects in households/local business and schools community
• Give people and households a planned strategy to cut their CO2 pollution.
